About The Position

HCA HealthONE Swedish is hiring a Patient Care Technician to support the collaborative nursing team in Surgical Cardiology. The technician provides hands-on, non-medicated patient care and assists Registered Nurses with monitoring patients and carrying out care plans. The role helps create a safe and welcoming environment while supporting patients’ comfort, dignity, and recovery.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• High school graduate or GED.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort.
• Provide non-medicated care, including dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices.
• Keep patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality.
• Support Registered Nurses with monitoring patient conditions and carrying out care plans.
• Assist patients with daily needs such as vital signs and personal care.
