About The Position

As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will be a vital part of the collaborative nursing team, supporting Registered Nurses in providing hands-on care and helping create a safe, welcoming environment for patients. You will assist with daily needs such as vital signs, mobility, and personal care, while helping RNs monitor conditions and carry out care plans. Your attention, empathy, and teamwork help restore comfort and dignity for every patient.

Requirements

• Obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.

Nice To Haves

• Previous patient care experience in a healthcare facility is preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) license is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support care and recovery.
• Provide non-medicated care, including dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices.
• Keep patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality.
• Support Registered Nurses in monitoring patient conditions and carrying out care plans.
• Assist with daily patient needs such as vital signs, mobility, and personal care.
