About The Position
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. The role performs patient care activities within the limits of the position and does not administer medications or therapy or assume independent responsibility for patient care. Duties must be carried out consistently with PAM Health’s policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements
- Current BLS certification is required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
