About The Position

The Patient Care Technician (PCT), under the direction of professional staff, assists with patient care to support patients, the nursing unit, and professional staff. The role is identified as PRN. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Meet at least one of the following experience or training pathways: one year of experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility; graduation from a certified nursing assistant program; graduation from a Certified Medical Assistant program; nursing student with documented completion of the first semester of a nursing program; documented military experience as a medic or corpsman; foreign nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the U.S.; or EMT certification/paramedic license.
