Patient Care Technician (Float)
About The Position
The Patient Care Technician (Float) position is based at UW Health Swedish American, 1401 E State St. The schedule is 90% FTE, consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with rotating weekends and holidays. Additional compensation may include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay. Requirements
- Must be listed as active and eligible in the Illinois Registry for CNA.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant, completion of a fundamentals of nursing course with registration on the Illinois Department of Health Registry, or RN/LPN training completed in another country.
- Completion of EKG.
- Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
