About The Position

The Patient Care Technician (Float) position is a 90% FTE day-shift role at UW Health Swedish American Hospital, 1401 E State St. The role requires active and eligible status in the Illinois Registry for CNA and Basic Life Support/CPR certification. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Preferred work experience includes computer experience. Additional qualifying credentials include Nursing Assistant certification or completion of a fundamentals of nursing course with registration on the Illinois Department of Health Registry, or completion of RN or LPN training in another country; EKG completion is also required as specified in the posting. Additional components of compensation may include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay. Requirements

Must be listed as active and eligible in the Illinois Registry for CNA.
