Patient Care Technician (Float)
About The Position
UW Health is hiring a Patient Care Technician (Float) to work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital, 1401 E State St. The schedule is 90% FTE, with three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., including rotating weekends and holidays. Additional compensation may include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay. Requirements
- Must be listed as active and eligible in the Illinois Registry for CNA.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant, or completion of a fundamentals of nursing course and registration on the Illinois Department of Health Registry, or completion of RN or LPN training in another country and completion of EKG.
- Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
