About The Position
DaVita is hiring a float Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. The PCT provides direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment. This position requires regional travel and float support among clinics within the local area, with full schedule flexibility to meet coverage needs across designated locations.
Requirements
- Accredited high school diploma, GED credential, or equivalent.
- Comfort around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
- Physical ability to work long shifts on your feet.
- Willingness to float between local clinics as needed.
- Flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- CNA, MA, or CHT credential; phlebotomy certification; or healthcare experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
- Set up and maintain dialysis equipment.
- Record vital signs and patient data.
- Educate patients on treatment and kidney health.
- Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.
