About The Position

The Patient Care Technician works nights in the Cardiac Telemetry unit, collaborating with multidisciplinary team members in a highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging environment. The role assists with patient care and provides support services to patients, the nursing unit, and professional staff. The position is at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, a 294-bed acute-care hospital serving North Texas.

Requirements

• Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program or certified medical assistant program; or have one year of experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility; or be a nursing student who has documented completion of the first semester of a nursing program; or have documented military experience as a medic/corpsman; or be a foreign nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the U.S.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support card required.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
