About The Position

The Patient Care Technician assists with patient care and provides support services to patients, the nursing unit, and professional staff. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary team members in a highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging environment to provide excellent patient care. This is a full-time night-shift position in Cardiac Telemetry, working three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours).

Requirements

• Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program or certified medical assistant program; or have one year of experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility; or be a nursing student who documents completion of the first semester of a nursing program; or have documented military experience as a medic or corpsman; or be a foreign nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the United States.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support card required.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
