About The Position
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) serves as a caregiver during scheduled work periods, providing patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The role focuses on providing compassionate, reliable care and helping create a warm, welcoming environment that supports healing and positivity. The position is in the Broadway Day Unit and involves weekday, eight-hour day shifts with varied morning start times. The schedule is 40 hours per week. Training and specialized onboarding are provided, with opportunities for career advancement through educational assistance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
- Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
- In North Dakota, employees who are not CNAs must be on the North Dakota Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry after completing training and competency validation, or within four months of initial employment.
- In Wisconsin, employees must be on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with current work eligibility, or be a student nurse enrolled at a school approved by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing who has completed a basic nursing course and 16 hours of clinical experience.
Nice To Haves

- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
