About The Position

The Patient Care Tech (PCT) assists professional nursing staff and physicians in providing emergency treatment to patients of all ages. The role includes accurately and promptly documenting care delivered in the electronic health record. The position is with West Boca Medical Center’s emergency department and is a full-time night-shift role.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• CPI certification required within three months of hire.
• Excellent human relations and oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in a hospital or nursing home setting.
• Completed CNA course.
• Phlebotomy experience.
• EKG experience.
