About The Position
Full-time Patient Care Technician position in the Ambulatory Surgery Unit at Samaritan Hospital. The role provides direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. Responsibilities
- Perform direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Assist with patient arrival and emergence from anesthesia.
- Set up monitors.
- Assist patients with positioning and repositioning.
- Transport patients to the next phase of care.
- Assist with bedside procedures, including ECGs and finger sticks.
- Manage unit supplies and stock and organize patient-care areas.
