About The Position

The Patient Care Tech provides patient-centered care in the ICU at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. Under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, the role provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle and demonstrates competency with treatments, procedures, and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy. The position works collaboratively with licensed nursing staff to support a diverse patient population, promote healing, and support wellness. Care includes helping patients with bathing, feeding, and other activities of daily living. The role is part-time, on days from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with weekend and holiday availability required.

Requirements

• Previous experience caring for patients in a hospital setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician certification preferred.
