Patient Care Tech - ICU

About The Position
The Patient Care Tech works in the ICU and participates in providing safe, quality patient care as delegated by the Registered Nurse. The role supports Genesis Medical Center’s standards and philosophies, assists nursing staff and physicians with patient-care and non-patient-care activities, and performs tasks in a caring and efficient manner. The position also supports customer service and assists with department housekeeping and supply, equipment, and facility maintenance. The schedule is PRN, with a requirement of 24 hours per month.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support training.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- No experience required.
Responsibilities
- Participate in providing safe, quality patient care as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
- Assist nursing staff and physicians with patient-care and non-patient-care activities.
- Perform tasks in a caring and efficient manner that supports customer service.
- Assist with department housekeeping and supply, equipment, and facility maintenance.
