Patient Care Tech - CSU
About The Position
The Patient Care Tech participates in providing safe, quality patient care as delegated by the Registered Nurse and supports the standards and philosophies of Genesis Medical Center. The role assists nursing staff and physicians with patient-care and non-patient-care activities. Tasks are performed in a caring and efficient manner that supports customer service, along with department housekeeping and supply, equipment, and facility maintenance. This is a part-time position in the CSU department, scheduled for the evening shift from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., 24 hours per week. The schedule includes rotating weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support training.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience.
- Healthcare student.
- CNA certification.
- Medical terminology.
Responsibilities
