Patient Care Tech - CSU
About The Position
The Patient Care Tech participates in providing safe, quality patient care as delegated by the Registered Nurse, supporting the standards and philosophies of Genesis Medical Center. The role assists nursing staff and physicians with patient-care and non-patient-care activities. Tasks are performed in a caring and efficient manner to support customer service, department housekeeping, and the maintenance of supplies, equipment, and facilities. This part-time role is in the CSU department and works the second shift, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., for 8 hours per week, with rotating weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Basic Life Support training.
- No experience is required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience.
- Healthcare student status.
- CNA certification.
- Medical terminology knowledge.
