About The Position

The Patient Care Technician provides a variety of indirect and direct care to patients and their significant others under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Care includes meeting patients’ dependency needs, such as nutrition, hygiene, safety, and physical and psychological comfort measures. The technician performs job duties in accordance with the organization’s mission, vision, and values.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Florida CNA license.
• Nursing students must be currently enrolled in a Nursing program and have completed Fundamentals of Nursing.
• Nursing students must submit an unofficial transcript with the application.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect care to patients and their significant others under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Support patients’ nutrition, hygiene, safety, and physical and psychological comfort needs.
• Perform job duties in accordance with the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
