About The Position

The Therapy Patient Care Technician provides support care to patients and therapy staff while working under the supervision of a licensed therapist. The role integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice. Elkhorn Valley Rehabilitation Hospital is a 40-bed hospital providing specialized inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative services to patients in Wyoming and neighboring states. The hospital is part of Ernest Health.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification.
• Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
• Awareness of current infection control requirements and practices.
• Clinical proficiency in using policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Appropriate use of supplies and equipment.
• General computer skills, including data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
