About The Position
Abrazo Arrowhead Campus is seeking compassionate, reliable, and team-driven Patient Care Assistants to join its Medical-Surgical Unit. This full-time, night-shift role supports patients throughout recovery and works with nursing staff to help ensure patients are safe, supported, and comfortable. The position offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus, based on eligibility.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or a CNA, PCA, or PCT certificate.
- CPR certification.
- Willingness to complete EKG training for designated units.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in an acute care setting.
- CNA or LNA certification through the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
Responsibilities
- Support nursing staff in delivering patient care.
- Assist with personal hygiene, vital signs, bed changes, and mobility.
- Serve meals, offer nourishment, and help maintain a clean environment.
- Prepare and care for medical equipment and supplies.
- Work with registered nurses and supervisors under their guidance.
