About The Position
Abrazo Arrowhead Campus is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and team-driven Patient Care Tech to support patients on its Medical-Surgical Unit. The role is described as per diem on night shifts. The Patient Care Tech is an essential member of the care team, helping patients feel safe, supported, and comfortable throughout recovery while assisting nursing staff with patient care.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or a CNA/PCA/PCT certificate.
- CPR certification.
- One year of experience in an acute care setting.
- Willingness to complete EKG training for designated units.
Nice To Haves
- CNA/LNA certification through the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
Responsibilities
- Support nursing staff in delivering exceptional patient care.
- Assist with personal hygiene, vital signs, bed changes, and mobility.
- Serve meals, offer nourishment, and help maintain a clean environment.
- Prepare and care for medical equipment and supplies.
- Work closely with RNs and supervisors under clear and supportive guidance.
