About The Position

The Patient Care Tech (PCT) assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to meet patients’ physical, emotional, and social needs. The PCT serves as a clinical preceptor to Nursing Assistants and other PCTs and is cross-trained as a Unit Associate. The role also includes helping maintain a safe and clean unit environment and performing miscellaneous duties as assigned. This is a full-time night-shift position at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. Qualified candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $6,000, paid over 24 months.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Obtain CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification within 90 days of hire or transfer into the role.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Nursing Assistant certification from an approved program.
• Florida-issued CNA license.
• Completion of the first semester of a Registered Nurse program.
