About The Position

The Therapy Patient Care Technician provides support care to patients and therapy staff at a rehabilitation hospital in Plano, Texas. The position works under the supervision of a licensed therapist and integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice. The role calls for clinical awareness, appropriate use of supplies and equipment, effective communication and organization, and attention to confidentiality, quality, safety, and infection control.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
CPR certification.
Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
Awareness of current infection control requirements and practices.
Clinical proficiency using policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Appropriate use of supplies and equipment.
General computer skills, including data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
Effective organizational and time management skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
