About The Position

This role involves delivering compassionate, high-quality direct patient care and assisting with personal care and daily living activities to promote patient comfort, dignity, and recovery. The position supports safe patient admissions, transfers, and mobility across care transitions to ensure a smooth, welcoming, and secure patient experience. The Patient Care Tech will communicate key observations and changes in physical, mental, or emotional status promptly to the nursing team to facilitate timely and effective clinical interventions. They will also document patient care activities, vital signs, and care journeys accurately to maintain high-quality records and support multidisciplinary care continuity. Additionally, the role requires maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly patient care environment while keeping essential medical equipment prepped and ready for immediate clinical use.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work in a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
