About The Position

The Patient Care Representative, Cardiac Cath Lab greets, schedules, meets, and registers patients in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. The role answers and routes telephone calls and messages, coordinates insurance verifications and pre-authorizations, maintains medical records, and prepares charts and paperwork for all Medical Imaging modalities. The representative accurately registers patients and places orders for all Medical Imaging modalities, uses working knowledge of Epic, monitors the waiting area, communicates patient readiness to clinical staff, and provides assistance as needed to physicians, Department Managers, and clinical staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of office or clerical experience.
• One year of experience in the healthcare field.
