RN - Cardiac Cath Lab
About The Position
Salem Hospital is hiring an RN for its Cardiac Cath Lab. The unit includes cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs with two rooms. Procedures include PCI, Impella and balloon-pump support, device implants, and ablations. The patient population is adult, and the charting system is EPIC Cupid. Floating is not required. The schedule is four 10-hour day shifts per week, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with seven on-call nights per month. The on-call schedule includes one Friday-through-Sunday weekend and four additional nights per month. The position is listed as 40 hours per week. On-site parking is free, and a new on-site call room is available.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience.
- Cath/EP lab experience.
- Interventional cardiac experience.
- Scrub experience.
- Active Massachusetts RN license.
- AHA ACLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to adult patients in the cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs.
- Support interventional cardiac procedures, including PCI, Impella and balloon-pump support, device implants, and ablations.
- Scrub for procedures as required.
- Participate in the on-call schedule, including seven on-call nights per month.
