Patient Care Partner –3 North - Telemetry – Part Time Nights
About The Position
The Patient Care Partner is a bedside care provider on NewYork-Presbyterian’s nursing team, helping patients and families feel comfortable through compassionate, attentive care. The role works with nurses and nursing attendants and supports the nursing department by observing and communicating patient needs. It includes providing phlebotomy, performing EKGs, monitoring vital signs, and testing blood glucose. This is a part-time night position at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Hospital in Bronxville, working 11:00 p.m. to 7:15 a.m. with rotating weekends and holidays. The role requires on-site presence.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Successful completion of an approved Patient Care Tech Program, or phlebotomy certification and EKG certification, or demonstrated experience performing electrocardiograms.
- One year of experience as a Nursing Assistant.
- BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience in psychiatry or a related field.
