About The Position

Bright Now! Dental, supported by Smile Brands, is seeking a friendly, organized, and service-focused Patient Care Coordinator for its Puyallup office. This front office role helps create a welcoming environment and supports scheduling, patient communication, insurance coordination, and daily office operations. The coordinator helps patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their visit while working with the dental care team to deliver seamless patient care. The schedule is Monday through Friday. Compensation is $19.00–$25.00. Benefits depend on employment status and hours worked.

Requirements

At least 1 year of dental experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
Positive attitude, professionalism, and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of dental terminology and dental insurance processes.
Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients with warmth, professionalism, and a positive first impression.
Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately.
Schedule appointments and coordinate daily patient flow.
Verify insurance benefits and assist patients with coverage and payment-option questions.
Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and provide outstanding customer service.
Support treatment acceptance by helping patients understand next steps and financial arrangements.
Maintain accurate patient records and protect confidentiality.
Partner with doctors, hygienists, and team members to deliver seamless patient care.
