Patient Care Coordinator - Sports Medicine
About The Position
The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) provides receptionist and skilled clerical support to the department. The role may include scheduling patients, obtaining necessary documentation, supporting prior authorizations, and coordinating aspects of patient care to help ensure continuity of care. The PCC performs duties in a way that promotes teamwork and reflects the entity’s mission and values. This position is with Swedish Health Services DBA Swedish Medical Group, part of Providence, whose culture emphasizes patient-focused, whole-person care, understanding, commitment, mutual respect, and empowering caregivers.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of medical office or related healthcare experience, or 6 months of experience as a Providence employee in an Associate PCC position.
