About The Position

HSHS St. Vincent Hospital is seeking a patient-focused, mission-driven Patient Care Assistant to provide nursing support in the Med/surg department. The role is based at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and is scheduled for 36 hours per week on the PM shift, with every other weekend required. The successful candidate's pay rate will be based on relevant experience, skills, training, certifications, and education.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of nursing assistant or Patient Care Assistant experience, or 6 months of such experience and the required certification.
• A Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) credential in the state of practice is required for candidates with 6 months of experience; certification is not required for candidates with more than 1 year of experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire.
