About The Position

Energy Employee Services, LLC is seeking a compassionate Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for its home health team. The role involves managing home care for terminally ill or elderly patients and providing accessible, comprehensive support to patients and their families. The position is full-time in West Chester, Ohio, with six-hour shifts available during the day and evening. Pay is $16–$18 per hour.

Requirements

• Willingness to submit to a background check.
• Willingness to obtain a TB skin test if one has not been completed within the last year.
• Willingness to travel to patients’ homes, potentially within a 45-mile radius.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication skills and dedication to providing patients and families with accessible, comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Follow the patient’s Plan of Care (POC) as instructed by the Case Manager.
• Assist patients with hygiene care, including restrooming, transfers, baths, and showers, as ordered in the plan of care.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping as outlined in the plan of care.
• Report changes in patient status directly to the Case Manager.
• Document patient status and condition in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the patient’s care team to support patient outcomes.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
