About The Position
This position will provide patient care to psychiatric patients, which does not require certification and that conforms to care and treatment policies and procedures. The role involves providing direct patient care under the supervision of licensed staff, following instructions, and reporting observations of bio-psychosocial needs and behaviors to a licensed nurse in a timely manner. Skills in providing direction and assistance to patients in activities of daily living are essential, along with knowledge of developmental and psychiatric disorders. Competencies must be demonstrated as defined on the Competency Assessment.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- Basic computer knowledge

- Previous psychiatric experience
- Knowledge of nursing scope of practice
- Bilingual Spanish and English
