About The Position

The Patient Accommodations Coordinator manages and optimizes the allocation of hospital beds to ensure efficient patient flow, maximize bed utilization, and facilitate timely admissions, transfers, and discharges. This role involves maintaining real-time bed availability information, coordinating bed assignments, and communicating with various departments to streamline patient movement within the hospital. This is a PRN (as needed) position with a variance in schedule.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Two years of medical office or related experience required

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree in healthcare related field preferred
• Previous experience in hospital services and medical insurance preferred
