Responsible for providing guidance and mentoring of new and/or existing staff with daily work effort and proper handling of accounts. This role includes providing daily support, mentoring, and training to both new hires and existing Patient Access staff, as well as assisting in managing escalated issues. The position also involves assisting in short and long-range planning for all Registration Process areas, maintaining positive customer service, and enforcing departmental policies. The supervisor will monitor daily activity, complete performance and metric reports, and perform special projects as assigned. Additionally, they will perform all Patient Access functions as needed and act as part of the management team to ensure operational goals are met.
