About The Position
Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia (CCP), part of Cardiovascular Logistics (CVL), is a professional medical organization dedicated to providing high-quality cardiovascular care and improving patient outcomes. CCP specializes in comprehensive cardiology care and has more than 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia region. The organization is hiring a per diem Patient Access Representative for its Springfield, Pennsylvania location. The role supports patient access and front-office operations, including scheduling, check-in, and payment collection.
Requirements
- Experience in a medical office setting.
- Knowledge of different insurance types.
- Ability to multitask.
- Computer knowledge.
- Well-spoken, friendly, and outgoing demeanor.
- Proficiency in Hindi or Gujarati.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with an EMR system.
Responsibilities
- Schedule tests and follow-up appointments as patients leave the office.
- Review instructions with patients for scheduled studies.
- Enter charges as patients leave and during downtime.
- Call patients to confirm appointments.
- Receive, greet, and direct patients.
- Verify demographics, insurance, and PCP information at check-in.
- Collect co-pays.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
