About The Position

Patient Access Representative's within our Float Pool team assists various medical offices in the Kingman area on an as needed basis. This integral administrative role plays a crucial part in maintaining the utmost organization and efficiency within our medical offices. Position Purpose: As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for providing essential clerical support and ensuring a seamless patient registration process. This entails verifying benefits, facilitating patient discharges, collecting copays or payments, maintaining accurate account balances, and performing general data entry tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• AZ DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a customer service position and/or office setting
• Able to reach above and below shoulder level, lift, bend, kneel, squat, stand, walk, and sit for the full scheduled shift; able to use business office equipment/computer.
• Expected duties have, but not routine exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service completing the registration process for patients.
• Confirms patient demographic information, verification of benefits, scheduling and coordinating post discharge care for patients, collection of copays or payments, balancing of accounts, and general data entry.
• Preregister, register, schedule, reschedule, and discharge patients according to the defined guidelines.
