As a Patient Access Representative, your responsibility is to deliver an exceptional experience to patients, families and visitors from the moment they arrive to the time they return home. In this role, you will assist with registration, information gathering, payment collection and insurance verification to help ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience. This position supports patients in emergency room settings, inpatient floors and outpatient diagnostic services. This role is a great steppingstone to opportunities within Customer Service and a variety of departments across Cleveland Clinic. This is a regular PRN position, with caregivers working an evening/night rotation between 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. or 11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m., including a minimum of 48 productive hours per six-week schedule. Weekend shifts may be 4 or 8 hours, starting after 3:00 p.m. Friday and ending on or after 7:00 a.m. Monday. This role also requires working one holiday and one weekend shift as scheduling dictates. Caregivers in this role will float between Avon, Lutheran and Fairview locations within Cleveland Clinic. Please note that if you are selected, you will need to attend a 2 week EPIC training starting on your first day. The training is Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm on-site at Fairview Hospital. You will need to attend all days of this training. Once the training is complete, you will then start work on your assigned schedule/shift. In order to be considered, you will need to acknowledge that you are able to attend the full duration of the training.
