This position is responsible for performing full patient registration, verifying insurance, and collecting payments. The role involves explaining important documents like Consent for Treatment, Financial Liability, and HIPAA to patients, as well as instructing them on completing necessary questionnaires. Additionally, the Patient Access Representative 1 will schedule, cancel, and edit appointments, accurately record no-shows, and reconcile vouchers. The role also includes answering telephone calls, responding to inquiries, and transferring calls appropriately. Adherence to University and unit-level policies and procedures, and safeguarding University assets are also key functions.
