About The Position

The Patient Access Manager (PAM) is a front-line member of Keenova Patient Support Services who supports patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders throughout the treatment journey. The PAM is a trusted resource and subject matter expert in treatment access, reimbursement, affordability, and patient support services. The role applies significant patient access, reimbursement, patient support, and healthcare navigation experience to reduce access barriers, improve patient outcomes, and enhance the patient experience. The PAM identifies individual and systemic obstacles to treatment initiation and continuity of care, collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to address them, and uses patient access, reimbursement, affordability, and treatment journey insights to recommend process improvements and program enhancements. With minimal guidance, the PAM serves as a strategic voice of the patient, translating emerging trends, unmet needs, healthcare literacy challenges, affordability barriers, and access obstacles into recommendations for patient support strategy, operational improvements, resource allocation, and future program design. The position provides hands-on reimbursement and acquisition support for biologic and testosterone products across Buy/Bill and specialty pharmacy channels. It involves educating patients about reimbursement processes and approved resources, resolving specialty pharmacy and logistical issues, coordinating with field reimbursement managers (FRMs), case managers, providers, and other stakeholders, and supporting patient access in a changing payer landscape. The PAM also gathers and presents actionable field intelligence to influence patient support programs, operational priorities, and business decisions. Up to 30% travel may be required.
