This position reports to the Patient Access Service Director, through the assigned immediate Patient Access Supervisor. This position is responsible for the support functions necessary to accomplishing the objective of the Welcome Center and Patient Access Service department. These include, but are not limited to functions under the categories of: excellent customer service which include; warmly greeting patient family and friends at the Welcome Center; managing assigned account, patient access or referral WQ’s; patient scheduling & check-in, registration, verification of insurance benefits, documentation of actions taken to process patient access task; correctly direct guest to the department or area they wish to visit.
