About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator to join its team in Sellersburg, Indiana. Patient Access Coordinators contribute to the success of the revenue cycle by completing thorough admissions processes for inpatients and outpatients. They collect accurate information, protect its confidentiality, and ensure patients understand their rights under HIPAA regulations and company policy. Extensive insurance experience or training is vital to success in this role. The employee maintains compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements regarding access services.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to type 40–45 words per minute.

- Registration experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Complete thorough admissions processes for inpatients and outpatients.
- Collect accurate patient and insurance information while protecting its confidentiality.
- Ensure patients are aware of their rights under HIPAA regulations and company policy.
