US-Patient Access Assoc I
About The Position
R1 is hiring a Patient Access Associate I to support patient registration and help patients and visitors with general inquiries. The role uses technology to support registration and communication, routes written communications appropriately, and communicates in person, by telephone, and by email. The associate determines priorities during assigned shifts and assists associates with new procedures and duties. Other duties may be assigned by the Patient Access Manager or Team Lead. This is an on-site position in a well-lit, climate-controlled environment with a quiet noise level. The listed base pay range for this US-based role is $16.00–$21.10 per hour. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Requirements
- High school education; equivalent experience will be considered.
- No experience required.
Responsibilities
- Use technology to support patient registration.
- Route written communications appropriately.
- Communicate with others in person, by telephone, and/or email using various communication technologies.
- Receive patients and visitors and handle general inquiries.
- Determine work priorities on assigned shifts.
- Assist associates with new procedures and duties to be performed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Patient Access Manager or Team Lead.
