About The Position

The Pathways to Employment Program Coordinator oversees career-focused education programs that help adult learners improve their English, literacy, workplace, and job-specific skills so they can successfully enter or advance in the workforce. This position combines teaching, program coordination, partnership development, and student support to ensure learners have a clear pathway to employment.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
Experience teaching adult learners, English language learners, or workforce-focused education programs.
Positive, solution-oriented mindset with the initiative to identify challenges, solve problems, and continuously improve programs and services.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend events.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Teach career-focused English language and literacy classes for adult learners.
Coordinate programs that connect students to workforce training and employment opportunities.
Build and maintain partnerships with employers, workforce trainers, community organizations, and college departments.
Provide direct support to students navigating career training, college programs, financial aid, and other resources.
Recruit and enroll students.
Monitor student progress and program outcomes.
Collaborate with instructors and staff to deliver high-quality programming.
Maintain accurate program records and reporting requirements.
