About The Position
Bassett Healthcare Network, in central New York, is seeking a full-time AP/CP Pathologist; NYS COQ strongly desired. This role involves replacing a retiring member of an established group of five pathologists covering the Anatomic and Clinical Pathology needs of the entire integrated network. Primary duties are anatomic pathology sign-out, with general practice including minor teaching responsibilities and directorship of an outlying network laboratory. The practice examines approximately 20,000 surgical cases and 10,000 Cytopathology cases (2,000 non-gyn) annually with the support of Pathologist’s Assistants and Cytotechnologists. You will practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region, and become part of a progressive academic health system and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.
Requirements
- MD, DO
- BC/BE
- Possession of or ability to obtain NYS Licensure
- NYS certificate of qualification (COQ)
- BLS Certification Required
