About The Position
Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (Provincial Laboratory Medicine Services) is seeking professionals for career opportunities across the Lower Mainland to the Sunshine Coast. Lower Mainland Consolidation (LMC) is an innovative approach to improve efficiency across health organizations in select non-clinical and clinical support areas. LMC is a collaboration between Vancouver Coastal Health, Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA), Fraser Health, Providence Health Care, and the Ministry of Health, aiming to transform laboratory service delivery across the region. Provincial Laboratory Medicine Services (PLMS), a program under PHSA, serves a broad network from the lower mainland to the sunshine coast, including communities such as Vancouver, Chilliwack, Hope, Mission, Whistler, Powell River, Mission, Sechelt, and beyond. PLMS is hiring professionals passionate about innovation and excellence in lab medicine, regardless of experience level, to help shape a modern, efficient, and patient-focused lab system. Opportunities exist in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLTs), Medical Laboratory Assistants (MLAs), Pathologists’ Assistants, Lab Clerks and Support Roles, and Specialized Testing (including Clinical Chemistry, Anatomic Pathology, Microbiology, Genetics, Cytology, and more).
