About The Position

The iconic Waldorf Astoria property in New Orleans, The Roosevelt, is seeking a Full-Time Pastry Cook to join the team! A Pastry Cook is responsible for preparing and executing pastry and dessert items to support an excellent Guest and Member experience, while maintaining quality, consistency, and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute pastry and dessert items according to recipes and standards
• Assist with daily production to meet service and event requirements
• Maintain consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all dessert offerings
• Support the setup, organization, and cleanliness of the pastry station
• Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and safety procedures at all times
• Assist with seasonal and menu offerings as directed
• Properly store, label, and rotate ingredients to ensure freshness
• Collaborate with the culinary team to support overall kitchen operations
