About The Position

Fearrington Village is seeking a Pastry Cook to join our team. This role involves preparing a variety of pastries, cookies, and desserts for our guests, adhering to established recipes, and contributing to the development of new ones. The ideal candidate will ensure all products are fresh, maintain organized and sanitary work areas, and contribute to a safe kitchen environment. This is a full-time position with a Tuesday-Saturday schedule.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a high volume quality kitchen
• Team player, self motivator
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Open availability, ESPECIALLY weekends and holidays
• Positive attitude – great work ethic
• Can lift up to 50 Lbs

Responsibilities

• Preparing pastries, cookies and desserts for guests
• Following recipes and assisting in the development of new recipes
• Following prep list and ensuring all products are fresh before serving
• Ensuring all coolers and storage areas are maintained, neat, organized, and rotated
• Maintaining highest sanitary conditions
• Ensuring all work areas are safe & reporting any unsafe conditions
• Other duties as assigned
