About The Position

Roadrunner Services is hiring long-term, non-CDL drivers for local auto auction and dealership runs in the Flat Rock, Michigan area. Drivers move passenger vehicles between auto auctions, nearby dealerships, and storage lots. This is not a temporary or seasonal job.

Drivers ride in a company shuttle van with other drivers to and from pickup and drop-off locations, follow other vehicles or a chase van, and work as part of a team to provide safe and efficient vehicle pickup and delivery. The role also involves following safe driving procedures, scanning vehicles with a smartphone, and visually inspecting each vehicle for damage before driving it.

The position pays $13.75 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday for 32–40 hours per week. Drivers must arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled start time for check-in and security procedures. The work location is Roadrunner Services at Manheim Auto Auction, 29500 Gateway Blvd, Flat Rock, MI 48183. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a good driving record.
• Successfully pass an MVR, background, and drug test.
• Be able to get in and out of vehicles repeatedly during the day.
• Be able to see clearly near and far, maintain adequate peripheral vision, perceive depth and motion, and distinguish traffic signals and sounds.
• Have a smartphone.
• Marijuana use or impairment is prohibited while driving or on assignment, regardless of legality or medical authorization.

Responsibilities

• Drive passenger vehicles between auto auctions and nearby dealerships or storage lots.

• Scan vehicles with a smartphone.
• Perform a walk-around visual inspection for damage before driving each vehicle.

• Arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time for check-in and security procedures.
