About The Position

Roadrunner Services is seeking long-term drivers to move passenger vehicles through the live auction block and park them in their designated spaces on auction property at the Manheim Auto Auction in North Dighton, Massachusetts. All Sale Day activity takes place on the auction property. The company provides fuel, training, and vehicles; no special license or training is required. Drivers work assignments Monday through Friday, approximately 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., depending on auction needs, and are required to work Tuesday. Applicants should arrive 15 minutes early for check-in and security procedures. This is not a temporary or seasonal job. The position is listed as part-time, 1099 contract work, paying $15 per hour. Applicants may start once their motor vehicle record check and drug test are complete. Initial interviews are by phone; in-person visits or interviews are by appointment only at this secured location.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Have a valid driving license and a good driving record.
Pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check, background check, and drug test.
Be able to get in and out of vehicles repeatedly during the day.
Be able to see clearly near and far, maintain adequate peripheral vision, perceive depth and motion, and distinguish traffic signals and sounds.
Have a smartphone.
Do not use or be impaired by marijuana while driving or on assignment, regardless of legality or medical authorization.
