About The Position

Roadrunner Services is hiring local drivers to move passenger cars on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. This role generally involves driving within a 60-mile radius, with no over-the-road or overnight driving. Drivers transport vehicles between auto auctions, nearby dealerships, and storage lots, using a company shuttle van with other drivers to travel between pickup and drop-off locations. The position offers approximately 24–30 hours per week at $13 per hour. The assignment can begin after the motor vehicle record review and drug test are complete. Work is at Manheim Auto Auction in Grove City, Ohio. The position is a part-time 1099 contract.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a good driving record.
• Successfully pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) review, background check, and drug test.
• Be able to get in and out of vehicles repeatedly during the day.
• Be able to see clearly near and far, maintain adequate peripheral vision, perceive depth and motion, and distinguish traffic signals and sounds.
• Have a smartphone.

Responsibilities

• Drive passenger vehicles between auto auctions, nearby dealerships, and storage lots.
• Ride in a company shuttle van with other drivers to and from vehicle pickup and drop-off locations.
• Follow other vehicles or the lead chase van.
• Follow safe driving procedures.
• Scan vehicles using a smartphone.
• Perform a visual walk-around inspection for damage before driving each vehicle.
• Work as part of a team to provide efficient and safe vehicle pickup and delivery.
• Arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time for check-in and security procedures.
